Nenana man still missing, family asking for help
FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) -A Nenana man is still missing and the family is asking for the public's help.
Frank Minano Jr. was reported missing on August 17th. Family members say he was lost in the woods on Standard Creek Road near Old Nenana Highway by the ‘Monument'.
It is known that he took shelter in a cabin in that area Monday August 17th, in the evening.
He was last seen wearing a black and white flannel shirt, black pants, gray and white tennis shoes, and a black ball cap that has the word ‘Alaska’ on it. He is approximately 5′10″, weighing between 140-150lbs.
Frank is a traditional educator and mentor on culture, hunting, subsistence living, and respecting the land. He is an outdoorsman, veteran, and retired union sheet metal worker.
His family is asking for donations on their go-fund-me page for gas and supplies as they search for Frank.
