FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - Since August 18, Debra ’Debbie’ Nictune has been missing after last being seen at the Northward Building on Noble St. in Fairbanks, Alaska. Since her disappearance, community volunteers have stepped in to help search for the 59-year old woman.

“We can definitely use more volunteers,” said Peter Captain Jr. “We can use volunteers from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily whether it be for an hour or a couple of hours or all day. If any organization or any unions want to send us a few guys to help search we are river dragging right now.”

Debbie Nictune was last seen wearing a green shirt, loose jeans and a black jacket. She also has brown eyes and black hair.

“Something like this really helps us,” said Debbie’s brother Rory Nictune. “You get your strength back after getting the news that someone is missing, it’s just really helpful for our family.”

If you have any information in regard to the case, call Fairbanks Police Department at (907) 450-6500 or call Sharon Yatlin at (907) 987-9283.
