FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - According to the Delta Wind, Alaska State Troopers and the Special Emergency Response Team went to a home on Hanson Road in Delta Junction allegedly in search of Tyler Smith. Smith, age 19, is currently wanted on three felony arrest warrants totaling $35,000 stemming from charges of escape, burglary and failure to appear.

A nixle was issued at approximately 4:30 p.m. Wednesday for Smith, who is a white male approximately 5′10″ with brown hair. He was last seen wearing a tan coat and a white shirt in the area near Hanson Road. Anyone who sees him or knows his whereabouts should not approach him and is asked to call 911 immediately.

On Tuesday it was reported that he led law enforcement on a chase from Wasilla to Anchorage. During the chase Troopers say Smith used his vehicle to physically assault one police officer, causing minor injuries, and drove towards another officer.

Smith crashed his car and took off on foot. Law enforcement says he was able to get away.
