Fairbanks School District Superintendent to retire at end of school year
FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - In a letter to the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District School Board, Superintendent Karen Gaborik has decided to retire effective June 30, 2021. The letter was included in the Superintendent Report on the agenda for the upcoming school board regular meeting on Tuesday, September 15. Superintendent Gaborik said the reason for retiring was to “shift focus, re-order priorities, and create space for expansion.” The letter in its entirety can be found here.
