Fairbanks Central Recycling Facility closed temporarily due COVID-19 exposure
FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - In a Facebook post published Friday, the Fairbanks North Star Borough announced that the Central Recycling Facility will be closed indefinitely due to COVID-19 exposure.
The CRF was scheduled to open at 12:00 noon Friday. The facility will be closed until further notice in order to provide time for a full cleaning according to CDC guidelines. An update will be provided next week giving a timeline for when the center could reopen.
