City of Fairbanks releases report of CARES Act funding distribution
FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - With most of its CARES Act funding distributed, the City of Fairbanks has released a report detailing where the money was allocated..
Dated October 20th, the report specifies that of the $16 million received by the city under the Act, nearly $7.5 million went to medical facilities, more than $6.5 million was allocated to businesses, and just under $1 million was given to individuals and families.
The remaining $1 million is being used for direct and administrative costs.
