Fairbanks man charged with first degree sexual assault after 911 call
FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - Alaska State Troopers arrested a Fairbanks man on Monday after he allegedly raped someone. According to charging documents, the victim called 911 reporting that Jess Lee Antonich Eakin was attempting to rape and physically assault her.
During the call the victim could be heard pleading with Eakin to stop. Eakin can be heard yelling, “did you really call the police? Tell me.” The report says there were several times when what sounded like a slap or hit occured.
The 911 call lasted for over 20 minutes before troopers arrived on scene. They entered the house and found Eakin naked and straddling the victim who was also naked. Eakin failed to comply with verbal commands and troopers pulled him off of the victim. According to the charging documents, Eakin was intoxicated during the incident.
Troopers charged Eakin with one count of sexual assault in the first degree, two counts of sexual assault in the second degree, one count of forth degree assault and two counts of violating conditions of release for in incident from 2019.
