FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - HEY EVERYONE AND WELCOME BACK TO OUR MONDAY NIGHT WEATHER.

TODAY WAS ANOTHER CHILLY DAY.

OUR PHOTO TONIGHT IS A BEAUTIFUL NOVEMBER SUNRISE.

THE HIGH TODAY WAS ONLY 2 BELOW, WHILE THE OVERNIGHT LOW DROPPED DOWN TP 14 BELOW ZERO.

THE RECORD HIGH WAS 44 IN 1943, WHILE THE OVERNIGHT RECORD LOW WAS 45 BELOW IN 1994.

THE SUNRISE AND SUNSET EQUALS 5 HOURS AND 18 MINUTES.

ACROSS THE STATE THE WARMEST AIR WAS OVER THE ALEUTIAN CHAIN WITH COLD BAY AT 41, AND THE COLDEST DAYTIME TEMPERATURE WAS FOUND IN FAIRBANKS.

THE SATELLITE AND RADAR SHOWS A LARGE AREA OF LOW PRESSURE IN THE NORTHERN GULF OF ALASKA WHICH IS HELPING TO SPREAD SHOWERS ACROSS PARTS OF THE SOUTHEAST AND AND THE SOUTHWEST. A STRONG FRONT IS APPROACHING THE WEST COAST.

IN THE LOWER 48, RAIN IS LOCATED OVER THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST, WITH THE MIDWEST REPORTING AREAS OF RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS AND A LITTLE SNOW TO THE NORTH. SOME SHOWERS ARE ALSO REPORTED OVER PARTS OF NEW YORK AND PENNSYLVANIA.

TEMPERATURES ARE COOL OVER A LARGE PORTION OF THE COUNTRY.

BACK IN ALASKA TOMORROW, THE NORTH SLOPE WILL BE SUNNY, BUT THE NOME AREA WILL SEE HEAVY RAIN MIXED WITH SNOW AT TIMES.

THE INTERIOR SHOULD SEE SUNSHINE BUT CLOUDS WILL BEGIN INCREASING BY EVENING, ALONG WITH WINDS NEAR DELTA.

THE SOUTHEAST WILL SEE SNOW SHOWERS IN JUNEAU, WHILE KETCHIKAN WILL HAVE RAIN SHOWERS.

BETHEL WILL SEE RAIN AND SNOW, WHILE COLD BAY WILL HAVE RAIN WITH SUNSHINE IN KODIAK.

SUNNY SKIES ARE EXPECTED FOR ALL OF THE SOUTH CENTRAL REGION.

LOCALLY TONIGHT, WE WILL SEE COLD TEMPERATURES ALONG WITH SCATTERED HIGH CLOUDS, TOMORROW SUNSHINE WILL BE ABUNDANT, TOMORROW NIGHT CLOUDS WILL BEGIN INCREASING.

THE EXTENDED FORECAST IS FOR CLOUDY SKIES WITH WARMER TEMPERATURES AND LIGHT SNOW DEVELOPING BY LATE EVENING AND CONTINUING INTO THANKSGIVING. THE SUN WILL RETURN FOR FRIDAY AND INTO THE WEEKEND.
