Fairbanks schools returning to limited red zone Dec. 1, some students returning to in-person learning

FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - According to a press release sent out by Fairbanks North Star Borough School District Superintendent Karen Gaborik, Fairbanks schools will be returning to the limited red zone on Tuesday December 1st, barring any more announcements from the governor.

Students who had been identified by special education and student support services as eligible to access school for additional academic support will be able to return to school on the days and times they had been attending prior to November 13.

All other students will continue with remote learning and/or eLearning.  Parents are encouraged to contact their child’s school if they have any questions.
