Alaska Army National Guard members wish family and friends Happy Holidays from Poland

FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - Alaska Army National Guard Members from the 297th Regional Support Group are stationed across Poland this Christmas and wanted to wish their family and friends back home a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. So they recorded video messages.

Here is some of what they said.

“(Polish Phrase) from Poland. We are the 297th wishing our families a happy holidays. Merry Christmas - Merry Christmas - Merry Christmas - Happy Holidays.” (speaker unknown)

“Greetings Alaska, I am Specialist Robich from Poland. Hope you guys have a Merry Christmas (Polish Phrase)”

“(Polish Phrase) I am U.S. Army 2nd Lt. Balinda O’Neal Drese and this is Sgt. Ciera Bell and we are with the Alaska National Guard’s 297th Regional Support Group stationed at Forward Operating site Swietoszow, in beautiful Poland. We just want to wish you Happy Holidays. We love and miss you and will see you very soon.”

“Hi this is Lt. Frolander coming to you from Poland. Like to wish my wife and kids a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.”

“Hello, I am Capt. Montoya and I am Sergeant 1st Class Chaput we want to wish our family and friends, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from Karliki, Poland.”

“Welcome Alaska Sgt 1st Class Sapp from Poland wishing my wife and stepsons, John, Michael and Josh Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.”
