Man on the street: What was your best moment of 2020?
FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - The year is nearly finished. For many, they are glad to see it go; but even with the struggles that many of us faced, there were still bright spots in the year. We went out and asked people about the good things that happened in 2020.
“I had my grandbabies come see me from North Carolina. Yep, it was wonderful. It was a real lift in all this other stuff that was going on and what we were headed into. It was wonderful to be with my grandbabies” said Carolyn Rosheleau.
Kevin Jones is just happy to be here, “I am breathing, you know. I got to spend time with friends and family.”
“I would say the best thing I have done for myself is get sober. I am in treatment now” Reina Awan said.
“I got engaged, I guess that would be the best moment of 2020. Now I have a fiancée,” said Demond McAllister
Anna Gayvoronskaya said, “I got my daughter back. I finally got... I was a drug addict for 18 years and God freed me of it finally, and I got my life back.”
Grady & Camrie Shields were happy together, “Well we finally got to spend our first year married together, so it was great - she got to move up here.”
