FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - The Fairbanks Ice Dogs are putting in their final preparations before their two-game series against the Minnesota Magicians. Both teams will be playing in Wisconsin at the Hudson Sports and Civic Center.

The Ice Dogs come into this series after sweeping the Janesville Jets in three games last week. Fairbanks found success on both sides of the ice, with the offense scoring 13 goals and only gave up eight during the series. Minnesota on the other hand scored a pair of wins over the Cippewa Steel.

“We had some pretty good intensity and we’re looking forward to playing two weekends in a row,” said Head Coach Trevor Stewart. “Hopefully we can carry the momentum from last weekend. Guys are excited and we’ll see how this plays out.”

The Ice Dogs sit at (3-4-0) with six points on the year. Game 1 is set for 1 P.M. Central Time.
