FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - A team of physicians from across Alaska will be hosting a online town hall to address community questions and concerns surrounding COVID-19 and the vaccine.

The meeting starts at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 12th, and ends at 8 p.m. Dr. Anne Zink, Chief Medical Officer for the State of Alaska will be attending.

The meeting will be conducted on Zoom and will require registration on a website to attend. Those registered can ask questions regarding COVID-19 and the vaccine. For those who only wish to watch, the event will be livestreamed on Facebook as well.

The goal of these events, according to organizers, is to better inform Alaskans on the rapidly changing information surrounding COVID-19.

This event will occur weekly but future instances will begin at 6 p.m. on Tuesdays.
