Fairbanks woman previously reported missing has been found safe

FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - According to a dispatch published by the Alaska State Troopers, on January 29 Troopers in Fairbanks received a tip about a possible location for missing person, Brandy Haferman.
Troopers responded to a residence in Fairbanks and located 30-year-old Brandy Haferman unharmed and safe. Haferman had been reported missing by her family in the Lower 48 on January 11, 2021. An investigation revealed that Haferman had three outstanding misdemeanor warrants; she was arrested for her warrants without incident and remanded at FCC.
The dispatch went on to say The Alaska State Troopers would like to thank the person who notified AST after recognizing Haferman from local media coverage regarding missing persons cases. Missing persons information is readily available on the Department of Public Safety’s website. Missing persons bulletins can be viewed here. Anyone with any information regarding a missing person is asked to contact the Alaska State Troopers or their local law enforcement to provide a tip. It is imperative that all missing persons are located and accounted for.
