FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - Ice Alaska and the World Ice Art Championships kicked off their 2021 season on Monday, February 15th.

Located at the Tanana Valley Fair Grounds, sculptors from around the world compete in various events such as the multi-block, Double-Block, Single-Block and Youth competitions.

This annual outdoor event has attracted people and carvers from around the world to take part in creating the sculptures and offer ice sculpting lessons.

The event’s operating hours are 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. seven days a week.
