FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - HELLO EVERYONE AND WELCOME IN TO OUR FRIDAY WEATHER. TODAY WAS A FAIRLY NICE DAY WITH MORE CLOUDS BUT STILL QUITE COMFORTABLE. OUR WEARTHER PHOTO IS A BEAUTIFUL SHOT OF A SUNRISE AT BIRCH LAKE.

ACROSS THE STATE. THE COLDEST AIR WAS OVER THE NORTH SLOPE, WHILE THE WARMST TEMPERATURE WAS AT KETCHIKAN.

THE HIGH FOR FAIRBANKS TODAY WAS, AND THE LOW DROPPED DOWN TO OVERNIGHT.

THE RECORD HIGH WAS IN, AND THE OVERNIGHT LOW DROPPED TO IN .

THE SATELLITE AND RADAR SHOWS RAIN OVER THE SOUTHEASTAND SOME SNOW NEAR ANCHORAGE.

IN THE LOWER 48, RAIN IS MOVING OVER THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST, MEANWHILE RAIN IS WIDESPREAD OVER THE CENTRAL PORTION OF THE COUNTRY. SOME SNOW IS MOVING ACROSS THE GREAT LAKES.

TEMPERATURES ARE GRADUALLY WARMING ACROSS MOST OF THE COUNTRY.

ALASKA’S OUTLOOK FOR TOMORROW IS FOR SUNNY SKIES ALONG THE NORTH SLOPE WITH SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW AT NOME.

THE INTERIOR WILL HAVE CLOUDY SKIES WITH A FEW AREAS OF LIGHT SNOW DIMINISHING THROUGH THE DAY. JUNEAU WILL SEE ISOLATED SHOWERS, WHILE KETCHIKAN WILL SEE RAIN ALL DAY.

BETHEL WILLHAVE SNOW, COLD BAY WILL EXPEREINCE SNOW SHOWERS, AND KODIAK WILL BE SUNNY.

ANCHORAGE WILL BE CLOUDY WHILE HOMER AND VALDEZ WILL SEE SUNSHINE ALL DAY.

LOCALLY TONIGHT SKIES WILL BE PARTLY CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF AURORAS, TOMORROW THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE OF A LITTLE MORNING SNOW THEN CLOUDY THE REST OF THE DAY. SUNNY SKIES ARE THE FORECAST FOR SUNDAY, THE EXETENDED FORECAST IS FOR A CHANC EOF SNOW ON TUESDAY OTHERWISE CLOUDY SKIES AND ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES ARE FORECAST FOR THE REST OF THE UPCOMING WEEK.
