FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) -

HELLO EVERYONE AND WELCOME BACK FOR YOU SATURDAY WEATHER.

IT WAS A GREAT DAY ACROSS THE INTERIOR AND PROMISES TO BE EVEN BETTER TOMORROW. MORE ON THAT LATER, RIGHT NOW LOOKING AT THE TEMPERATURES ACROSS THE STATE THE HIGH FOR THE DAY WAS IN JUNEAU WITH THE COLDEST AIR ALONG THE NORTH SLOPE.

IN THE LOWER 48, ANOTHER FRONT IS MOVING IN ON THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST.

OVER THE SOUTHEASTERN STATES THEY ARE SAYING GOODBYE TO A RAIN SYSTEM WHILE THE NORTHEAST IS SEEING SOME LINGERING SNOW SHOWER ACTIVITY.

TEMPERATURES ARE NEAR NORMAL ACROSS THE COUNTRY.

ALASKA’S OUTLOOK FOR TOMORROW IS FOR SUNNY SKIES ALONG THE NORTH SLOPE WITH BLIZZARD CONDITIONS AND WINDS GUSTING TO 55 MILE PER HOUR IN NOME.

THE INTERIOR WILL SEE MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES AND WARMER CONDITIONS.

OVER THE SOUTHEAST JUNEAU WILL BE SUNNY WITH CLOUDY SKIES AT KETCHIKAN.
