FOUND SAFE: Fairbanks Police find girl who went missing Tuesday night
FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - UPDATE 6:47 p.m.: Fairbanks Police have announced that Natalie has been found safe and has been returned to her parents. They want to thank the Fairbanks community for being so supportive in their efforts to find her.
UPDATE 6:13 p.m.: Additional information has been released by the Fairbanks Police Department surrounding 12 year old Natalie Nichole Bryner.
FPD is attempting to speak with the owner/driver of the pictured vehicle, which appears to be an older dark red Subaru station wagon. It is believed this vehicle picked up Natalie along Illinois St at approximately 11:00 p.m. Tuesday night. There are no indications she was taken against her will. Please call FPD at 450-6500 or 911 if you have any information on this.
UPDATE 3:30 p.m.: Fairbanks Police Department Captain Scott Adams said that they have no indication of any criminal activity. Adams said that due to her age and the cold weather they decided to upgrade things and send out the Nixle and a Facebook post. The Nixle was not sent out at night because Adams said that most people will not see it until the morning.
The dog that is with her has been identified as a black and tan Rottweiler.
FPD has also said that reports circulating on Facebook that she has been found are incorrect. Anyone who sees someone matching Bryner’s description is asked to report her to dispatchers. Adams said there are two detectives working the case and helping to search for the girl.
According to a Facebook post from the Fairbanks Police Department, along with a Nixle alert that was also issued, Natalie Nichole Bryner is missing after running away from home late Tuesday night.
Natalie is 12 years of age and approximately 5′3″ with brown hair and blue eyes. She ran away from the 300 block of 12th Avenue sometime after 10:30 PM on Tuesday 3/16/21. Natalie may be wearing a blue North Face jacket.
She was also with her dog when she left home last night.
Anyone with information on Natalie’s whereabouts is asked to contact Fairbanks Police Department at 907-450-6500. Information can also be provided to Officer Trevor Norris at firstname.lastname@example.org / 907-450-6455. Thank you for the assistance.
