Alaska State Troopers find human remains in freezer near Tok

FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - Alaska State Troopers (AST) have found human remains in a freezer near Tok.
According to a press release, AST Fairbanks dispatch received a report of a freezer containing human remains in the woods near mile 112 of the Tok Cutoff. When they responded to the scene, they located the freezer partially buried around 100 feet off the road. The freezer and remains were transported to the medical examiners office in Anchorage.
The remains have not yet been identified, and the investigation is ongoing.
