FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) -WELCOME BACK TO OUR SATURDAY WEATHER. TODAY WAS SUNNY BUT A LITTLE CHILLY WITH THE HIGH TEMPERATURE OF 41 DEGREES AFTER AN OVERNIGHT LOW OF 26.

THE RECORD HIGH FOR THIS DATE WAS 68 DEGREES, AND THE OVERNIGHT RECORD LOW WAS 5 DEGREES.

THE SUNRISE AND SUNSET EQUALS 17 HOURS AND 3 MINUTES AFTER A GAIN OF 7 MINUTES.

ACROSS THE STATE JUNEAU HAS THE WARMEST READING WITH TEMPERATURES ON THE NORTH SLOPE REMAINING IN THE 20′S.

THE SATELLITE AND RADAR JUST SHOWS A FEW RAIN SHOWERS ALONG THE SOUTHEAST WITH THE REST OF THE STATE ENJOYING MOSTLY SUNNY CONDITIONS.

IN THE LOWER 48, SOME SHOWERS ARE OVER EATERN WASHINGTON, WHILE MORE THUNDERSTORMS ARE MOVING ACROSS TEXAS AND ARKANSAS.

TEMPERATURES ARE MUCH WARMERS FOR SOUTH AND CENTRAL PORTIONS OF THE COUNTRY.

BACK IN ALASKA TOMORROW, THE NORTH SLOPE WILL SEE A FEW CLOUDS AS WILL NOME. THE INTERIOR WILL BE SUNNY WITH WARMING TEMPERATURES.

THE SOUTHEAST WILL BE MOSTLY SUNNY, THE SOUTHWEST WILL SEE ISOLATED SHOWERS FOR BETHEL BUT A MIX OF RAIN AND SNOW IN COLD BAY, AND RAIN FOR KODIAK.

ANCHORAGE WILL BE MOSTLY SUNNY, HOMER WILL BE CLOUDY, AND VALDEZ WILL SEE A FEW CLOUDS.

LOCALLY TONIGHT WE WILL HAVE CLEAR SKIES TONIGHT, SUNNY SKIES TOMORROW, AND CLEAR GAIN TOMORROW NIGHT. THE REST OF NEXT WEEK WILL BE MOSTLY SUNNY WITH CONTINUED WARMING TEMPERATURES.
