Troopers say death of Eagle man was homicide
FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - Alaska State Troopers have determined that a man’s death in Eagle, Alaska was a homicide.
According to a dispatch from troopers, Gerald Goodnoh, 69, was found dead at his property outside of Eagle, a community on the south bank of the Yukon River in the Southeast Fairbanks Census Area.
Troopers originally said that no foul play was suspected, however the body was taken to the state medical examiner’s office for an autopsy.
After the autopsy was completed, they determined the cause of death to be a homicide.
Investigators from Fairbanks responded and are conducting a homicide investigation.
