FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) -
Matanuska Valley - King Salmon “catch and release” only. Good Pike and Rainbow trout.
Kenai River - Good Sockeye opportunity on Kenai River. King Salmon off limits.
Prince William Sound - Halibut catches are great. so are Rockfish, no Salmon yet.
Lakes and River - Tanana River drainage is closed to King Salmon and Chum fishing. Pike have slowed down near Minto. Chitina will close to dip netting Sunday at midnight.
