FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - The Lathrop Malemutes had week four off due to rescheduling with their opponent - and on Friday night - it looked like they made the most of their time on the practice field during the bye.

With all three facets coming together, there was never a doubt as Lathrop scored on its first two drives in a 56-0 dismantling of the Chugiak Mustangs on the road.

Senior quarterback Jarren Littell accounted for 42 points in the win with five total touchdowns (4 passing, one rushing) and seven extra points. Dean Silva caught three of those scores, while Elijah Dean caught one touchdown on offense, before snatching an interception out of the air and taking it back for six for another touchdown. Junior running back Kaine Clayton shed tacklers and danced around defenders for a 49-yard score as the Malemutes had everything going for them, with the defense pitching a shutout.

The Malemutes (3-1) will return to Fairbanks for week five to host the Kodiak Bears at 5 p.m. Saturday for a Railbelt Conference showdown.
