FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - This good boy has a lot of love and energy to share with his new forever home.
Luke is a fun loving, active dog who is looking for a loving family to play with all day. Here’s what Britley Calkins, an animal handler with Fairbanks North Star Borough Animal Shelter, had to say:
“Luke is a one-year-old Lab Chow mix who is now available for adoption here at the shelter. Luke has a lot of energy, he is looking for a very active home that can keep him both physically and mentally stimulated.
Luke is not completely housebroken, so this is something his new owners are going to need to continue to work with. He’s definitely catching on, but still has a way to go in that department.
Luke is very friendly towards other animals and people in general. We do not know how he does with those smaller critters such as cats or pocket pets, so do please take caution if choosing to introduce him to those little critters.
Luke’s favorite thing is to play with the squeaky ball, and he loves to play fetch. If you are interested in meeting this happy boy, and you can give him the training that he needs, and the exercise that will help him grow into the best boy he can be, please give the shelter a call. We also have plenty of other dogs available, cats, pocket pets, and chickens!”
