FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - Tanana Chiefs Conference (TCC) held a Special Full Board of Directors Meeting on Friday, November 12th.

On the meeting’s agenda was an unspecified recent employee grievance, among other items.

The session was called by TCC Chief and Chairman P.J. Simon, who has come under fire in recent weeks over the firing of General Counsel Natasha Singh. “I’m due to tell my side of the story. That’s what’s owed to me as your Chief and Chairman, so once we accept and pass the agenda, we’ll go into Executive Session,” Simon said.

After a publicly live-streamed opening hour, the board moved into executive session. Later, TCC announced that the board had adjourned and would not reconvene.

This story will be updated as details emerge about what was covered and decided in the Executive Session.

The public portion is available for viewing at TCC’s Facebook page.
