UAF postpones basketball games
FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - Earlier in the year, two basketball games were postponed for UAF’s women’s team. Well, they now add on another postponed game to the season along with the men’s team.
Most recently, the Nanooks women’s basketball team postponed their game against the Montana State Billings Yellow Jackets, due to the weather interfering with travel capabilities across the Pacific Northwest. This game was set to happen on December 30th here at the Patty center. A new date has not been set for a make up game.
The men’s team adds their first and second postponed games of the season as well. The Nanooks had two games scheduled to be played here in Fairbanks at the patty center. The first game was against the Yellow Jackets also originally set for December 30th. Seattle Pacific University had a game set for January 1st. These game have been postponed due the health and safety concerns rather than weather and travel conditions. Neither has a make up date set.
That being the case, Nanook’s hockey, rifle, skiing, and swimming are all still on track for their up coming meets, matches, and games.
