FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - Update from the Alaska State Troopers, January 4, 2022 regarding baby Teshawn.

The baby child known as Teshawn, who was found in a cardboard box with a note attached, continues to be in good health and is in the care of the Office of Children’s Services (OCS).

Alaska State Troopers (AST) are diligently seeking to identify the parents of the child and are following any and all leads.

While the note mentions that the parents lived on Cormorant St., AST is asking the public to keep in mind the possibility that the baby came from a different location in the Fairbanks area.

Troopers are in the process of submitting the child’s DNA as part of the ongoing efforts to determine immediate family.
