FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - A little shy, and a whole lot of fluff, Buddy is a beautiful feline that could use a good, quiet, and purr-fect home to curl up in.

Here’s what Britley Calkins, an animal handler with Fairbanks North Star Borough Animal Shelter, had to say:

“Buddy is a 3-year-old spayed female kitty available for adoption here at the shelter. Buddy was surrendered to the shelter because her previous owners were moving and unable to take her with. Buddy was described as being quite shy in her previous home.

She was said not to do well with children, dogs or other cats. Because of that we are requiring that she goes to a home without kids under 12, no dogs and no cats. With that being said, Buddy has been super sociable and sweet here at the shelter. She comes up to her animal tenders right at the front of her kennel, so she might have just been overwhelmed in her previous home.

Buddy has used her litter box fantastically here at the shelter. She has a healthy appetite, and she has a lot of love to give. If you are interested in meeting Miss Buddy or any of our other cats, dogs or pocket pets here at the shelter, please give us a call.”
