FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - The Alaska Division of Elections (DOE) has reported a misprint on its Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD) notices mailed out to Alaska residents.

The division stresses that the deadline to register to vote or update mailing information in order to vote in the state’s special primary is May 12.

The special primary will take place on June 11.

Voter information can be viewed and updated at myvoterinformation.alaska.gov.

According to the DOE, these notices were sent to those who applied for a PFD and weren’t registered to vote then.

It also went out to those whose address on their PFD application was different from the one on file.
