FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF)
Matanuska Valley – No Salmon yet. Rainbow Trout is good on Parks Highway streams.
Kenai River – No Salmon yet in the Kenai River. Catch and release Steelhead.
Prince William Sound – Halibut and Rockfish catches picking up. Some Kings reported.
Rivers and Lakes – Chitina dip netting will open June 7th at noon. All indications are that it should be a great salmon fishing season all the rivers.
