Adult male arrested after stabbing roommate

FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - Right before 9 p.m. Sunday evening, August 21, the Fairbanks Emergency Communications Center (FECC) received a report of an adult male that had been stabbed.
When Fairbanks Police arrived on scene they found the victim outside an apartment on Romans Way in Fairbanks.
The victim told police his roommate, Tristen Samuel Tinker, date of birth March 28, 2003, had stabbed him after they had an argument about money.
Tinker was located on the scene and detained after admitting to the stabbing.
He had stated he stabbed his roommate because he had threatened him, but could not explain or give details on how the victim had threatened him.
The victim was taken to Fairbanks Memorial Hospital after suffering serious lacerations.
Tinker was arrested and booked at Fairbanks Correctional Center on the charge of Assault in the First Degree.
The Fairbanks Police are asking anyone with any information to contact Officer Vandenburg at 907-450-6500.
