The Chitina Personal Use Salmon Fishery closed on September 30, this year. Permit holders have until Saturday, October 15 to report their harvest numbers. Reporting is done online at the ADF&G Online Harvest Reporting website.

Permit reporting is mandatory and all permit holders are required by law to report their harvest numbers, even if they did not fish or catch any fish. Those who fail to report online by October 15 will be denied a permit for next year.

ADF&G wants to remind residents accurate reporting and participation and harvest is necessary for the sustainable management of the Copper River salmon fisheries.
