FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - Be prepared for winter driving conditions and make sure you have extra warm winter gear, flares, and a shovel in your vehicle. Take your time getting to your destination if the roads are icy and drive with your head lights on at all times.
Steese Highway: Black ice and snow on the road. Watch out for pothole damages.
Richardson Highway: Black ice and snow on the road. Icy patches and ice on bridges.
Parks Highway: Wet surfaces due to rain and snow mix.
