FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - The Fairbanks Drama Association is putting on a production of “Rope” by Patrick Hamilton.

Rachel Blackwell is directing the play which she describes as a “backwards murder mystery.”

The suspenseful play shows the audience a murder that is being concealed. Blackwell says the suspense stems from the possibility of the murderers being caught, or getting away with the crime.

The script centers around themes of life, death and morality while the characters attend a party with the victim present but concealed.

The show will be performed over three weekends beginning Friday, November 4.
