Ways to explore Fairbanks include fishing, riding in an all-terrain vehicle, visiting the Trans-Alaska Pipeline, swimming, visiting an art exhibition, and exploring Denali National Park, are just a few of the exciting adventures to engage in.
Places like the Trans-Alaska Pipeline and Denali National Park are recommended for sightseeing.
Meanwhile, meeting sled dogs and taking in resident art are both listed for local flavor.
So much to see, so much to do, jammed into one big season.
According to Scott McCrea, President and CEO of Explore Fairbanks, “The idea is to showcase to them, here are all the amazing tours, activities, events, et cetera that occur right here in your own backyard, and people should get out and get a chance to explore them because we’re fortunate. We live here. We have all these things happening, and this is, Fairbanks is such a bucket-list destination for people around the world, so making sure that residents know just exactly what we have to offer so that they can enjoy the same things that our wonderful visitors do.”
