FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - Now that the days are longer and warmer, the time to get your fishing gear out and catch some fish is now. Here’s a brief look around the state to see where the fish are at.
Matanuska Valley - Looking great for fishing right now, as kings and sockeyes are plentiful.
Kenai River - The Russian River is hot right night for rainbow trout and king salmon.
Prince William Sound - Baiting and artificial lures are now allowed for fishing.
Rivers and Lakes - The high alpine lakes are looking good for fishing with the warmer temperatures.
