The 2023 Midnight Sun Run 10k recap
FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - Over 3,400 runners representing 41 different states and quite a few different countries participated in the most anticipated race of the summer, the Midnight Sun Run 10k.
The course this year was officially sanctioned, making the race eligible to be used as a qualifier for bigger races, including marathons.
The man who crossed the finish line first and would defend his title was Daniel Abromowitz, coming in at thirty-two minutes flat.
On the women’s side and representing the UAF Cross Country Team in her first 10k ever, was Rosie Fordham who took the win with a time of thirty seven minutes and nineteen seconds.
Both winners would take home, not only a medal but also a $500 check for the win.
