FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is holding auctions over two days next week, where properties in Willow, Wasilla, and Sterling will be sold.

The first is taking place on Wednesday, July 12, where the real estate in question will be in Willow and Wasilla.

The lands being sold are each around an acre in area, with one located in Willow, and three in Wasilla.

The Sterling Auction, meanwhile, is scheduled for the next day, Thursday, July 13, and involves one parcel of land about 7 acres in area.

Those interested in participating must demonstrate to the IRS that they have at least 10 percent of the bid amount prior to bidding.

They can attend the auction in-person or submit a bid over the mail.

Those who successfully bid on an item of land have 60 days to pay the full amount.
