Fairbanks North Star Borough to have workshop for Capital Improvement Program
FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - The Fairbanks North Star Borough will have a community workshop at the end of August, where residents can learn about and nominate projects for the Capital Improvement Program.
The workshop will take place on August 31 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Juanita Helms Administration Center in the borough building, located at 907 Terminal Street.
During the workshop, attendees can learn more about the program, and process and communicate their thoughts to borough staff. Residents will also have a chance to nominate projects for the program to work on during fiscal year 2025.
Nominations can also be submitted online. The nomination period opened on Monday, Aug. 21, and will end on Sunday, Oct. 1.
