JoJo is the Pet of the Week

FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - JoJo, the Pet of the Week, is a 5-year-old neutered male Anatolian Shepherd mix who is at the Fairbanks Animal Shelter and is looking for his perfect place to call home.

Though his loud bark can seem intimidating at first, JoJo has been super sweet with everyone he meets, and once he gets to know you he is an absolute lovebug.

JoJo was said to be housebroken in his prior home and has done an excellent job of doing his business outside at the shelter. He was known to be an escape artist and can jump fences, so it is important to make sure that he is always on a leash, tie-out, or supervised when outdoors in a fenced-in yard.

Though he is said to do well with cats, JoJo can be a little bit leery toward new dogs, so making sure that new owners are always doing appropriate introductions is key to success.
