FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - An arrest has been made in relation to two vehicle thefts that occurred on Wednesday, October 18.

On October 19 at 1:30 p.m., Bradley Carroll was taken into custody by Alaska State Troopers (AST) on two counts of Vehicle Theft in the First Degree. He is also charged with Impersonating a Public Servant.

According to AST, a vehicle was stolen in Tok. Hours later it was reported as stolen when the owners realized the vehicle was missing.

By that time, the suspected thief had allegedly left the stolen vehicle in a driveway. He then stole a second vehicle from the same driveway he parked the first stolen vehicle in and made his way north toward Fairbanks. The second vehicle was reported being in a ditch near mile 306 of the Richardson Highway, near Birch Lake.

Both in Tok and at mile 306, Carroll, age 33, allegedly identified himself as a BIA agent.

He is being held at Fairbanks Correctional Center without bail for now.
