FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - A Kenai man was arrested this week and accused of making threats against a U.S. Senator.

Federal authorities say he used a congressional website, to say he wanted to kidnap and injure a senator from Alaska. While the threats did not refer to any lawmakers by name, he did use the pronouns “she” and “her”.

Senator Lisa Murkowski is the only female U.S. Senator for Alaska.

According to the FBI, Arther Charles Graham has admitted to sending the email.

In federal, unsealed documents, Graham is accused of expressing frustration about an eviction notice, and wrote that he wanted to “hunt you down, cut the flesh off your body and wear your skin like clothes.”

Graham now faces a charge of Interstate Communications with a Threat to Kidnap and Injure.

A hearing has been scheduled for Graham on Friday.
