Three Fairbanks men arrested and charged with Possession of Child Pornography

FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - Three men in Fairbanks were arrested on charges of child pornography. Two of the three also have ties to the military. All three were served with felony arrest warrants and remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center.

According to an Alaska State Trooper Dispatch report:

21-year-old Edgar Compean of Ft. Wainwright, was placed under arrest for 11 counts of Possession of Child Pornography. His bail was set at $3000 with no release until court approved third party custodian and / conditions of release.

22-year-old Izaya Delos-Santos of Eielson Air Force Base was placed under arrest for five counts of Possession of Child Pornography. His bail was set at $5000 with no release until court approved third party custodian and / conditions of release.

29-year-old Samuel Restifo of Fairbanks was placed under arrest for nine counts of Possession of Child Pornography. His bail was set at $1500 with no release until court approved third party custodian and / conditions of release.

All together, the men are looking at a total of 25 counts of Possession of Child Pornography.

Military members may be given a dishonorable discharge from their branch of service and face court-martial, among other penalties.

Troopers say the men were caught by a team of police officers and agents known as the Dawnbreaker Task Force.
