Allen Moore maintains Lead in 2018 Yukon Quest as Mushers arrive at the Eagle Checkpoint
The Leaderboard for Day four of the 2018 Yukon Quest hasn't seen very many changes at the top, but the mushers are still going full speed ahead.
Allen Moore is still ahead of the rest of the Pack.
He was the first racer to check into the Eagle Checkpoint early this afternoon and will be spending his mandatory four hour layover there.
Paige Drobny is still holding down the Runner-up position and was the second Musher to get into the checkpoint.
Defending Champion Matt Hall made it into Eagle in third place while Laura Neese is just outside of the Checkpoint.
Four Mushers, Torsten Kohnert, Vebjorn Reitan, Ed Hopkins, and Hugh Neff were are all resting at the Trout Creek Checkpoint this afternoon.
However, Reitan was the first one to leave and is now in fifth place.
Yesterday saw Mark Stamm, Ryne Olson, and Ike Underwood scratch from this year's race.
Underwood actually had to request assistance on the trail, and he and his team were all transported to the Circle checkpoint.
And this morning saw Christine Roalofs scratch at Circle.
She cited concern about her ability to care for her team due to a personal injury.
After the mandatory rest in Eagle, the remaining 20 mushers will head to the rough terrains at the Canadian Border, and then make their way to Dawson City.
