A Fairbanks man has been charged with multiple counts of sexual abuse of a minor. According to charging documents, 46-year-old Andrew Robert Lamborn allegedly touched and penetrated a 13 year old girl in the summer of 2019.

Troopers say that the victim’s father reported that the girl had been assaulted by Lamborn when she was in Fairbanks visiting family.

According to the victim, Lamborn allegedly began massaging her back and then took her shirt and bra off. He also allegedly removed her shorts and touched her genitals. The victim said she told him no multiple times but he wouldn't listen.

AST executed a search warrant, which allowed them to record conversations with Lamborn. In one of the conversations he was asked about the incident and said he didn't think the victim would lie. He said he was drinking and got the idea that he may have done something. He asked the person he was talking to not to go to police and he would do absolutely anything.

Lamborn was charged with one count of first degree sexual abuse of a minor, two counts of second degree sexual abuse of a minor, and one count of third degree sexual abuse of a minor.
