Fairbanks man drowns in Big Lake area
A Fairbanks man drowned while at Dimond Lake in the Big Lake area. Alaska State Troopers received a report of a flipped canoe and a body in the water on Saturday night.
According to AST dispatch, investigation revealed 30-year-old Arthur Analoak drowned in the lake.
It was reported that Analoak was not wearing a personal flotation device.
On Sunday, the Mat-Su Dive Team with the assistance of the Alaska State and Wildlife Troopers recovered Analoak’s body from the lake. There is no foul play suspected at this time and next of kin have been notified.
