A former Alaskan airman stationed at Eielson Air Force Base was sentenced for possessing child pornography.

According to the US attorney's office, 25-year-old Stephen Wyzatcki pleaded guilty to one charge of possession of child pornography.

He had been stationed in Interior Alaska since 2015.

Law enforcement says they tracked Wyzatcki after he tried sharing child pornography files to others on a website.

They found nearly 900 child porn images and 69 videos on the former airman's base computer.

He will serve three years and two months in jail.
