PET OF THE WEEK: Meet the cool pitbull named Snoop
Two to the one, to the one, to the three... he drops it like it's hot like you wouldn't believe.
We meet a cool pup at the Fairbanks Animal Shelter this week, and his name is Snoop.
Here's what Kimberly Imbert, Animal Shelter Operations Supervisor with Fairbanks North Star Borough Animal Shelter, had to say in News 13's ‘Pet of the Week.’
"Hi I'm Kimberley and this weeks 'Pet of the Week' is Snoop. Snoop is a one and a half year old pitbull.
He came to the shelter because he was a little bit to rough with the children in the home. Snoop is a really sweet dog. He is a little bit timid, maybe needs some more socialization. He is really gentle actually but he is kind of unaware of how big and strong he is. So he will kind of knock into you and bump you, which is probably why he wasn't doing so great with the children in the home.
Snoop seems to do really well with other dogs, and he likes to chase cats. So we don't recommend he go to a home with cats or children under the age of 12.
He is mostly house broken but he is still a puppy so he would do really good with consistent training. And also, you know, with lots of activity and basic obedience -- that kind of stuff, to help him be a really good boy.
Snoop also has other dog friends looking for loving homes at the shelter."
