The Resource Center for Parents and Children (RCPC) announced a new service on April 1, as they will now have a parenting hotline.
The RCPC says that by calling this line, families will have access to information and resources, someone to talk to, and a listening ear from trained professionals.
"It feels lonely if you are a parent with a kid and you don't know what to do. There is help out there, there are resources.” said Leigh Bolin, a behavioral health clinic supervisor for RCPC.
The parenting hotline is 907-456-9099 and it operates from 8 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. seven days a week.
