The Alaska Nanooks women's basketball program hung in tough with the Montana State Billings Yellowjackets, but ultimately fell to their GNAC foes to extend their conference losing streak.

The Nanooks fell 80-72, as they had a rough time limiting Hannah Collins who dropped 29 on them.

Billings as a team knocked down 13 threes on the Nooks, while Alaska only made six from downtown.

Both Marian Wamsley and Kylie Wallace combined their efforts to lead the Nanooks, getting 55 points which was 76 percent of the offense.

The Nooks were in the thick of the game due to their efficiency on offense, as they only had 6 turnovers on the night, while forcing 16 on the Yellowjackets.

This drops their conference record to 0-6 and extends their GNAC losing streak to 28 in a row.

They will look to snap the streak on Thursday against the Concordia Cavaliers on the road at 4:15 p.m.
